    This week, USA Rice participated in a trade mission, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), to meet with importers and potential customers in Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador. USA Rice has continually raised the issue of fraudulent organic rice imports with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) because they are harmful to domestic organic rice producers.
