Special Events

All participants in the RMA Golf Tournament and other special events must be registered for the convention. Most special events have a separate fee that must be paid with registration. Onsite registration for events will be subject to availability. A special event may be cancelled if the minimum sign-up is not met.

The following events are offered for registered attendees and guests:
Event Refund Policy:  To be eligible for a full event refund, cancellation notices must be received in writing on or before May 31, 2025. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after May 31, 2025. Full refunds will be issued if the event is cancelled.

RMA Breakfast with Ronan Donovan – National Geographic Explorer

Join biologist-turned-photographer Ronan Donovan as he shares what he’s learned documenting the social behaviors of chimpanzees, wolves, and gorillas, and what we—as fellow mammals—can learn from our wild kin.

As you enjoy breakfast, Ronan will share his experiences working on all seven continents, documenting some of the most amazing natural scenes. Ronan’s film work includes Kingdom of the White Wolf (Disney+) and Planet Earth 3 (Amazon Prime).

RMA Pickleball Tournament

Date:   Wednesday, June 11
Time:   2:00 PM to 4:30 PM
Price:   $125 per person
Location:  Pickleball Courts @ the Broadmoor

Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the U.S., so channel your inner Tyson McGuffin or Brooke Buckner and join us for the first ever RMA Pickleball Tournament! The Broadmoor pros will conduct a brief “refresher” clinic to kick off the event and then the tourney gets under way with a “Fun Flight” and a “Competitive Flight” working your way to a spirited “Final.” You can use your own paddle, but all registrants receive a high-quality carbon fiber commemorative paddle. Please wear athletic attire of any color (court shoes are advised).

  • Pickleball court fees and balls
  • RMA 125th Commemorative Pickleball paddle (yours to keep)
  • 30-minute warm up and instructions
  • Water and sport drinks

Golf Tournament

RMA’s annual golf tournament is a four-person scramble with a shotgun-start format. This year’s tournament will be held at the Broadmoor’s West Course. The West Course has rolling fairways, multi-level greens, and demanding hazards. At 6,800 feet, this 18-hole course features multiple doglegs and steeply-angled greens, and offers breathtaking views of both the mountains and Colorado Springs. The West Course plays tighter off the tee, with more heavily tree-lined holes and was the host of the 1998 PGA Club Matches.

RMA Annual Golf Awards will be held immediately following the tournament.

RMA 125th Anniversary Yellowstone Dinner & Dance

What to Expect:
A Western-style feast straight from the heart of ranch country. Dress the part in your best cowboy boots, denim, hats, and casual western wear. Live music by Parish County Line, bringing the energy and keeping the dance floor hoppin’ all night. A chance to relax, let loose, and celebrate 125 years of connection and community with your fellow RMA attendees.
