Forest Stand Improvement

Adjust species composition and/or density of a stand of trees to meet objectives; using ground applied herbicides to release young desirable trees from competing and/or overtopping vegetation with ground-based machinery; using aerially applied chemicals or equipment to release desirable trees from competing and/or overtopping vegetation, too big to be mowed.
