ARLINGTON, VA – USA Rice welcomes James Akuetteh as the new Manager of Finance. Chief among his duties will be management of accounts payable for USA Rice and its entities as well as assistance on various department projects.
James is a CPA with more than ten years of experience in general accounting, financial reporting, and assurance services with a focus on not-for-profit organizations. Most recently, James served as a consultant for Robert Half International where he was on assignment to USA Rice for the past eight months.
James grew up in Ghana where he graduated from the University of Cape Coast with a bachelor’s degree in commerce and an associate’s degree in education. After receiving a professional accounting certification (CIMA) in the United Kingdom, he worked at the Deloitte office in Ghana doing assurance and compliance work and later transferred to the Deloitte Office in Washington, DC.
In his free time, James enjoys reading, running, hiking, and teaching Sunday school.
