ARLINGTON, VA – USA Rice recently welcomed California Heritage Mills to the USA Rice Millers’ Association (RMA) as a Mill Member.
Based in Maxwell, California,
California Heritage Mills was founded and is owned by the descendants of twelve families who have worked the land in the Sacramento Valley for generations. As a grower, miller, and packer of premium northern California-grown medium and short grain rice, the company packs white and brown rice for domestic and export markets in everything from one-pound bags all the way up to metric-ton totes. Their modern, efficient milling and packaging facility brings the highest quality rice from their farms to the tables of the world.
“RMA membership encompasses virtually all of U.S. rice milling capacity and we’re excited to add California Heritage Mills to that roster,” said California rice miller and RMA Chair Rick Rhody. “The RMA is one of the oldest agribusiness trade organizations in America, we’re celebrating our 125th anniversary this summer, and that time-tested longevity is based on our capacity for growth through foresight and inclusivity.”
