Ingredients
- 1 cup uncooked brown rice
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup dried cranberries or raisins
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 ¼ cups water
- 3 cups fat free milk
- 2 cups peaches, diced
- 1 cup (4 ounces) slivered almonds
Directions
- Combine rice, salt, cranberries and cinnamon with water 2- to 3-quart saucepan. Bring to a boil; stir. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 40 to 50 minutes, or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Fluff with fork.
- Top with milk, peaches, and almonds.
